Renowned Historical Artist Chris Collingwood . Chris Has produced a few major large paintings of the First world war which are available as art prints. Also available are a range of superb Original Pencil drawings at affordable prices. These Pencil drawings are so good. We have produced a series of Signed Limited edition prints at great prices.
Chris Collingwood studied at Berkshire College of Art 1966 - 1970 and then worked for Halas and Batchelor as a background artist. In the golden age of book cover illustration Chris made the Gunslinger, Crow and Herne series his own. To this day the shelves of High Street booksellers are full of his work. Perhaps his best known popular pieces are in the now famous Jorvik Centre's paintings which form the focus of the exhibitions promotion and won a travel industry award. In recent years his best work has been paintings, such as SPQR, Anne Bonny, Mary Reid and Calico Jack Rakam and Blackbeard in Damnation Seize My Soul.

Baron Von Richthofen, March 1918 by Chris Collingwood. Germanys greatest First World War fighter ace, Baron Von Richthofen, known as the Red Baron is shown departing his Fokker DR.1 Triplane 425/17 after yet another successful sortie. 425/17 was the aircraft in which the Red Baron finally met his end in April of that year. No fewer than 17 of his victories having been scored in his red-painted triplane. |
